1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal data. SubTrack does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information. There is no account registration or login in the App.

The only data that exists in SubTrack is what you choose to enter yourself — subscription names, amounts, dates, and notes. This data is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to us or any third party.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

• Subscription data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device.
• Premium status and plan information are stored using Android Keystore-backed AES encryption via Flutter Secure Storage.
• App preferences (currency, notification settings, theme) are stored locally in SharedPreferences on your device.
• None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

3. Internet Access

SubTrack uses the internet for two limited purposes only:

• Subscription logos — when a known service is recognised, the app fetches a small favicon image from Google's public favicon CDN (google.com/s2/favicons). Only the service domain name is sent — no personal information is included.
• In-app purchases — if you upgrade to Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. SubTrack never sees or stores your payment details.

4. In-App Purchases

SubTrack offers optional premium upgrades (Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime) via Google Play's billing system. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Google. We do not collect, store, or have access to any billing or payment information. Purchase records are managed by Google Play and verified locally on your device. Google's privacy practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Notifications

SubTrack can send local renewal reminder notifications. These are scheduled entirely on your device and are never routed through any external server or push notification service. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6. Backup & Restore

The backup feature exports your subscription data as a JSON file and shares it via Android's standard share sheet. SubTrack does not upload this file anywhere — you choose where to save it (Google Drive, email, local storage, etc.). The restore feature imports a file you select from your device. No backup data passes through our systems at any point.

7. Third-Party Services

SubTrack does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party interaction is Google Play for billing, which is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Data Security and Retention

All data you enter is stored locally on your device using industry-standard encryption (Android Keystore-backed AES for sensitive values). Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is no personal data held by us to secure, retain, or delete. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.

9. GDPR Compliance (EU / EEA Users)

For users residing within the European Economic Area (EEA), including Greece, we are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because SubTrack collects no personal data, we do not act as a Data Controller of any personal information in the traditional sense.

Legal Basis for Processing: The only processing that occurs is local on your device, initiated entirely by you. No personal data is transmitted to or processed by us.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: You can request copies of any personal data we hold. As we hold none, there is nothing to provide.
• Right to Rectification: You can correct any data within the App directly, as all data resides on your device.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can delete all App data at any time by clearing App data in your device settings or uninstalling the App.
• Right to Restrict or Object: As no data is processed by us, there is nothing to restrict or object to.
• Right to Data Portability: You can export your data at any time using the built-in Backup feature.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a European Data Protection Authority, such as the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) in Greece.

10. CCPA and CPRA (California Residents)

This section applies to residents of California pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

• Categories of Data Collected: None. SubTrack does not collect any personal identifiers, usage data, or device information from users.
• No Sale or Sharing of Data: We do not sell your personal information, nor do we share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Your Rights: California residents have the right to know what data is collected, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, and opt out of data sharing. As we collect no personal data, these rights are satisfied by default. You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

11. CalOPPA (California Online Privacy Protection Act)

Pursuant to CalOPPA, we declare that:

• This Privacy Policy is accessible via the App's Play Store listing.
• Do Not Track (DNT) Signals: SubTrack does not track users across third-party websites or services, so DNT signals have no applicable effect.

12. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

SubTrack is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, no child data is at risk. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please be assured that no personal information has been collected. Contact us if you have concerns.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
